Ace the Nevada CFP Exam 2026 – Lock, Load, and Hit Bullseye!

Carrying a concealed firearm in a casino in Nevada with a Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) is permissible only with the express permission of the casino. This reflects the specific policies that casinos, which are private properties, can establish regarding firearms on their premises. While state law allows individuals with a CFP to carry concealed firearms, private businesses and venues like casinos have the authority to restrict or prohibit firearms as part of their operational policies.

The casino's right to set its own rules can mean that even with a CFP, an individual may still need to seek permission to carry a firearm on the property. Therefore, it's essential for permit holders to consult the specific policies of the casino or other similar establishments before considering bringing a concealed firearm onto the premises. This understanding highlights the balance between state law on concealed carry and private property rights.
